When we returned to my parents, I was pregnant with our second child, I gave birth to him on May 28, 2004. On July 10, 2004, my mother had a heart to heart talk with Jonathan. She said to him that it was time that he took responsibility for his family; she explained to him that it was unfair for my father to take care of all of us, while he does nothing to contribute. She said, it’s time for you to find a job so you could support your new family.
Jonathan became enraged and started cursing my mother and one thing lead to another, then the next thing you know Jonathan pack our belongings and we headed to a homeless shelter. After failing to adhere at the sheltered curfew, we were given shelter by Jonathan’s aunt Nancy; we stayed with her for 2 weeks.
After that Jonathan decided to call my mother and tell her, that he wanted to come back home with me and Eric and Jonathan Jr. He gave my mother and ultimatum, he said if she says no, then he would take us to Florida and she would never see me again and our children again. My mother listen to him on the phone and after he was finish talking to her, she replied,
“HAVE A SAFE TRIP”
then she hung up the phone. Jonathan was so pissed with my mother.
New York Children's service came looking for us around third week of September of 2004, at my mother home, my mother told them that were staying with Jonathan’s aunt Nancy in Manhattan.
My Mother told the Children service that Jonathan had called her around the ending of July 2004, and said he was moving to Florida if my parents didn’t allow him back into their home.
The children services in New York City calls my mother again and ask her if she heard from us, because they went to Jonathan’s aunt Nancy’s home and she wasn’t there, and they left her a note to called them back and she did called them back and she informed them that she didn’t know where we were.
She lied, to the Children Service Representative, because she was mailing my SSI check to Jonathan in Florida. Jonathan became my SSI payee on January of 2004.
